Developing the citizens of tomorrow through the best education of today.
Our PTFA
Having a successful Parent Teacher and Friends Association (PTFA) is good for the children, parents and staff of the school. It brings together parents, teachers and others from the community who are interested in supporting the school, providing an opportunity for everyone to work together, with a common purpose.
The Chancel Primary School PTFA is a group of enthusiastic people, and we work hard throughout the year organising extra-curricular activities and raising money for school equipment and treats for the children. The PTFA have purchased an outdoor classroom, climbing wall, ball chute, and weaving panels for the playgrounds, and hosted many events for the children to enjoy, including:
Autumn Term
KS2 Movie Munch
KS1 Tea with Santa
Halloween Disco
Christmas Bingo
Christmas Raffle
Christmas Jumper Day
Spring Term
KS1 & KS2 Movie Munch
Summer Term
Sponsored Bounce
Discos
Y6 Leavers Party
Summer Fayre
…and lots more fundraising events!
None of this would be possible without the hard work and dedication of the PTFA, but also the parents and carers who help to raise the money by attending the events and being generous with their time and money. The PTFA would like to thank everyone for their continued support, and remind all parents, carers and friends of the school that they are welcome to attend any meetings or come along to help at an event (it’s fun for the helpers as well as the children)!
