Expected Standard, or above , in reading writing and maths
End of Key Stage results for July 2025 demonstrates that pupils at Chancel Primary School continue to perform above other children nationally, at EXS, in: Reading, Writing, Maths and Grammar, Punctuation & Spelling [GPS]. The key indicator of Reading, Writing and Maths combined resulted in % of Chancel pupils reaching the expected standard, at EXS, performing above the % of children nationally.

Average ‘scaled scores’ show the average attainment of all children. The higher the score, the better the cohort performed. The scale runs for individual children between 90 and 120 (most able children). Pupils at Chancel Primary School perform above pupils nationally in Reading and GPS and in-line in Maths.
